Scandalized Catholics have hardly recovered from yet another Pachamama scandal, the second this year, in which two high-ranking Peruvian prelates were caught on camera making an offering to Mother Earth (Pachamama), and already more green communism is being shoved down their throats.
First up, there was the Mass for the Care of Creation on September 1 at the Madonnina del Borgo Laudato Si’, within the Pontifical Gardens of Castel Gandolfo, to mark a whole season dedicated to earth worship—sorry, I meant to say “care of Creation.”
The homily at this event contained less theological nourishment than the ramblings of a stoned hippy, and its message can be summed up in Leo’s call for “authentic ecological conversion, where the effects of our encounter with Jesus Christ become evident in our relationship with the world around us.”
Please let me know in the comments when last you heard Prevost call Catholics and the world to repentance from their sins and to conversion to the perennial Catholic Faith. I’ll wait.
Then there was the cringe and embarrassing prayer intention of Pope Ice Block for the month of September: for the care of water.
Yes, folks, despite it being the month traditionally honoring Our Lady of Sorrows, devastating natural disasters claiming lives, a deluge of sin enveloping humanity, and countless examples showing that mankind has lost its moral compass completely, the best the best-dressed “pope” could come up with was the care of water.
At this point, the question needs to be answered: Are the synodal hierarchy trolling us? Do they really want us to believe this is the Catholic Church?
While there admittedly is nothing trivial about clean water, and praying for those who lack it is an obvious work of Christian charity, this is hardly the kind of prayer intention that particularly befits the alleged Vicar of Christ.
Like the good UN humanitarian puppet that he is, Leo XIV asked that water remain a “source of fruitfulness, freshness, and hope” and described it as “a right without borders.” He also lamented that humanity has turned water “into a commodity” and prayed for those “who walk for miles to find it” and who “become ill due to its scarcity.”
This is an epic and embarrassing fail for the supposed successor of St. Peter, who is entrusted above all with confirming his brethren in the faith and shepherding souls toward eternal life. He can spare us his little kindergarten lectures.
What Planet Earth’s population needs from the Vicar of Christ is for him to reiterate the message of Christ to the Samaritan woman at the well: “the water that I shall give him shall become in him a fountain of water springing up into life everlasting” (John 4:14).
Guess that is just too much to ask at this late stage of apostasy.
But I would like to stand still for a moment at the publication, earlier today, of another document that coincides with this anti-Catholic pagan “season”: the International Theological Commission’s Caring for Our Common Home – A Responsible and Fraternal Response to the Triune God.
This document, which has been authorized by Leo, presents the ecological crisis as a theological one. I kid you not.
While those who want to believe the lie might be able to defend some of the document, it contains various alarming concepts and phrases.
The first is the claim that “everything is interrelated” and forms “a single community of life.” While Catholic theology recognizes the unity and order of creation, it also emphasizes hierarchy, and therefore to speak of all living things as belonging to a “single community of life” blurs this important theological distinction.
Another big red flag in the document is the use of the language of “sacramentality” as applied to creation. This smacks of Teilhard de Chardin’s influence on the modernists.
Writers such as St. Bonaventure indeed taught that created things can reveal something of God, but to describe creation in sacramental terms is an attempt to deify it.
Nature can be a sign of God, but it is not divine.
The proponents of this new Eco Religion craftily want to use the language of the sacredness and sacramentality of creation to move the sleeping sheep toward a spirituality in which nature is treated as possessing an almost divine presence of its own.
The document also ventures into dangerous territory with its description of the Eucharist as an “ecological school.”
The Eucharist is, above all, the true Body and Blood of Christ, the sacramental re-presentation of the Sacrifice of Calvary, and the supreme act of Catholic worship. It is therefore unusual, to say the least, to describe it through an ecological lens.
The document also returns to some old favorites of these priests of the Order of Gaia: the expressions “ecological conversion” and “ecological spirituality.”
The only conversion Catholics should be concerned about is that of turning from their sins to God.
But since the Synodal “Church” no longer believes in or preaches against sin, and because it is a satanic globalist imitation of Catholicism, it gives these two concepts their own independent and quasi-important spiritual status.
Sorry, Mr. Prevost and the authors of this rubbish document, but Catholic spirituality is ordered toward union with God and not toward harmony with an ecosystem.
Closely related to these two terms is the questionable phrase “a sin against Creation and against the Creator.” “Creation” is not a moral person against whom we can sin, and the combination of this phrase with references to the “cry of the Earth” personifies nature in a way that resembles modern Gaia-style ecological spirituality.
Which, of course, it is.
Finally, and probably most alarmingly, there is the document’s treatment of interreligious cooperation.
It again, as we have grown accustomed to when it comes to postconciliar anti-popes, legitimizes all religions by saying that different religions share the same beliefs about the “interconnectedness of everything that exists.” It goes on to call for cooperation in the service of “communion with the Transcendent.”
And just like that, with the proverbial stroke of the pen, we all, according to Prevost and Co., worship the same God, and instead of converting those involved in false and pagan religions, we must cooperate with them.
And that, my dear friends, brings us to the actual aim of this new religion: through climate-change fearmongering, they want to convince Catholics to worship Mother Earth alongside the very same religions of which Holy Scripture says their gods are demons/devils. (Psalm 95:5)
