Much has been said and written about Robert Prevost’s recent visit to France, and I have already covered it over at Integrity Magazine in articles here and here, and in a podcast with my colleague Stephen Kokx.
But if there was still any doubt left about what Leo XIV’s true dream for France—and humanity, for that matter—really is, then one has to look no further than his own meditation during yesterday’s General Audience to see that it has little to do with Catholicism and the Kingship of Jesus Christ, even though it was wrapped in Catholic-sounding language.
Throughout his address, we saw Leo repeatedly speak of “rebirth.” Clearly intoxicated by his own PR, he waxed lyrical about France’s cathedrals, its young Catholics, its catechumens, Lourdes, Europe’s Christian roots, the modernist disciple of the heretic Jacques Maritain, Robert Schuman, and the reconstruction of Europe after the Second World War.
Despite rereading it a number of times though, it was clear that the only “rebirth” he was not explicitly calling for was the return of France and Europe to the Catholic Faith and to the social Kingship of Jesus Christ.
Instead, in different statements throughout the audience, he made it clear what his real aims were.
Returning to his zealous obsession with deifying man and elevating him to godlike status, Prevost told the audience in no uncertain terms that “the synergy for the common good should be the norm for institutions, political and social forces, and all those with civil and economic responsibilities. This is the message I wished to convey to the French authorities, as well as to the members of UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, which has its headquarters in Paris, highlighting the fundamental criterion upon which such collaboration must be based: the dignity of the human person.”
Further along, he praised Maison Bakhita for being “a shelter for various people in need… where people commit themselves every day to serving the dignity of the human person.”
And again, towards the end of his address, he said that “a message that I wished to openly reaffirm: every human life, in whatever condition, even in the most extreme frailty, retains its inviolable dignity.”
While others and I have repeatedly pointed it out, I will say it again, just in case the odd reader in my audience has missed it: man does not contain infinite dignity; only God does. The only dignity we possess is through accepting Christ as our Savior and following the precepts of His Church. There is no such thing as “inviolable dignity” divorced from subjecting ourselves to the saving work accomplished by Christ’s crucifixion.
But this is exactly what the modernist false religion, and its most fanatical proponents, such as Bergoglio and Prevost, want you to believe. The very end of their false religion is the glory and common good of man. Their promotion of a homogeneous religious soup, in which no single religion is the truth, can only succeed if the common denominator is not the claim that Christ is the only Way and Catholicism is the one true religion, but man, his interests, desires, and temporal glory.
So we see that Leo was not explicitly calling France to once again become the eldest daughter of the Church, as she was once known, but ultimately for the Church to play an equal role alongside other religions, the State, public institutions, and civil society in order to promote the primary doctrine of the synodal religion: “human dignity.”
Man and his good, divorced from Christ and the Catholic Faith, were vigorously promoted as the overarching organizing principle that Leo wishes to see victorious.
And if anyone reading or hearing Prevost’s address was still not sure about his loyalties, his thoughts on his visit to Metz banished all doubt.
Saturated with subtle references to Masonic globalism and its one-world religion project, Leo told the audience that “Europe was reborn, founded on those principles of democracy, solidarity and fraternity amongst peoples, which owe much to its Christian roots. Even today, it is on these foundations and with this vital ‘lifeblood’ that the European project can be renewed, in a far more globalized world, where interreligious dialogue plays a role of primary importance. For this reason, at Metz, I met with the representatives of various religious traditions, who read and signed in my presence the ‘Metz Appeal’ for dialogue and peace.”
While he mentions “Christian roots” and describes them as the “lifeblood”, these realities, for Prevost, are tools to serve the greater satanic humanist ideology. It is telling that he was quick to emphasize that Catholicism is just another religious tradition among many when he reminded us that the Synodal Church has once again participated in yet another scandalous interreligious pact, the Metz Appeal.
Ultimately, instead of boldly calling for Christ’s reign over every aspect of France and Europe, Leo wants Catholicism to be reduced to an agent acting only as the cultural ancestry of an otherwise religiously neutral civilization.
The practical culmination of this vision is consequently not an appeal for France to recover its Catholic identity, nor for European nations to recognize Christ the King, but, as we saw, a meeting with representatives of different religions and the signing of the “Metz Appeal” for dialogue and peace.
On Wednesday, Leo’s audience was not a summary of the triumphant return of Catholicism, but instead his celebration of how the wicked Synodal Church of Man can assist the ongoing globalist Judeo-Masonic project.

At the end/ start of each month, I make this same request because the reality behind Radical Fidelity has not changed: countless hours of research, reading, writing, editing, and correspondence go into producing this work. What began as a side endeavor is now a full-time apostolate, demanding all my time, energy, and resources.
I am also grateful to share that additional articles of mine are now appearing at Integrity Magazine. While this means even more free content for readers, it also means a heavier workload spread across multiple platforms.
Despite this, I remain committed to keeping my work outside paywalls. I firmly believe that truth, especially in these times, should remain accessible to everyone regardless of financial means.
If Radical Fidelity has informed, edified, encouraged, challenged, or benefited you in any way, please consider supporting this apostolate through either a monthly contribution or an occasional donation of any amount. Your support helps make possible not only the continued growth of this small but meaningful community of faithful Catholics, but also the work still to come:

Both Paul VI & JPII also promoted a "Religion of Man."
From Fr Luigi Villa, "Paul VI Beatified?":
'The whole of the writings and speeches of Paul VI, in fact, show, with sad clearness, that it was man, rather than God, the centerof his cares… That all was thought out, judged, and directed according to the service of man.'Paul VI’s Christianity unpinned from the Cross. Namely – a Christ considered a “liberator”, not as much from sin, as from suffering, from humiliation, from enslavement; – a Gospel mixed up with the “Charter of Man’s Rights”, and placed at the service of “social justice”;– the “Rights of God” neglected, to the advantage of the exaltation of the “Rights” and preferences of man....' web.archive.org/web/20201007151134/http://padrepioandchiesaviva.com/uploads/Paul_VI.._beatified_english.pdf
