During one of my passionate discussions about the Catholic faith with the most beautiful soul I know—as we are often inclined to have—the conversation turned to the two reports I am about to share with you.
We were both enthusiastically connecting the dots between these two latest disturbing stories and the “bigger picture,” hardly giving each other a chance to finish a sentence, when she suddenly stopped walking and said:
“It is happening fast now.”
This simple but grave sentence caught even cynical me by surprise. It made me realize that I had become so absorbed in warning others, researching, and writing that I may have grown desensitized to the true seriousness of the situation—and to just how close we are to midnight.
My conversational sparring partner was right. “It” is happening fast now.
I don’t need to tell this well-catechized and informed audience what “it” is. I quickly looked. In less than two years, I have written almost 300 essays and articles about “it.”
These next two stories are just two more portents that “it” is imminent.
Read on, and you will understand.
As I have explained on several occasions, the nature of revolution is endless and ever more radical change. In each revolution lies the seed of the next revolution, more radical and more evil than the preceding one.
The postconciliar “church’s” experiment with synodality might have been presented as a renewal, but we know that it is merely the next phase of this ongoing revolution—one that will only be derailed in the eventual battle between Heaven and Hell.
They have marketed synodality as a “renewal” of supposedly ancient Christian practices: listening, discernment, and “walking together” under the guidance of the “Holy Spirit”.
This was, of course, nothing less than replacing true Catholic authority and ecclesiology with the tyranny of humanism and democracy. A way to decide “truth” by majority vote.
As it stands, it is diabolical enough. But Satan and his minions are insatiable. They want it more radical, and believe me when I say: it will get more radical.
This past week, it was reported that German theologian Michael Böhnke has publicly criticized the official synodal method as insufficiently flexible.
Böhnke criticized the “conversation in the Spirit” developed for the Synod on Synodality, arguing that its prescribed procedures risk becoming too “rigid.”
Dear reader, do you realize where they are heading?
No longer are Traditional Catholics too “rigid”; now even synodality is too “rigid” for these Catholicism-hating men and women.
Böhnke particularly objected to treating one structured method as normative across the Church and argued that the “Holy Spirit” cannot be confined to a single institutional format.
As if the Holy Ghost was present in the Synodal Heresy in the first place.
Be assured, Böhnke isn’t really campaigning here for the legitimate and authentic action of the Holy Ghost as understood by the Catholic Church, but for all restraints to be removed so that Man—the great new god—can create a religion of ultra-licentiousness in which his own will and wicked desires become the only dogma.
The Holy Ghost has long been absent from the false new religion. Böhnke is merely quickening the filling of that void with the god these men see in their mirrors.
As if it is not bad enough that the Synod on Synodality has already introduced a vocabulary and methodology alien to perennial Catholic ecclesiology, they now want to—and will—make it more extreme.
Already, the established synodal methodology of listening to experiences, identifying “convergences,” recognizing tensions, and discerning possible new directions is not liberal and progressive enough for these destroyers.
Böhnke is effectively asking for that framework to become more expansive still.
He argued that the “Spirit” may be manifested through numerous forms of ecclesial activity and that privileging the official synodal conversation risks excluding other approaches—including the German Synodal Way.
I know I have said it before, but it is worth saying again: the German Synodal Way is not some extreme fringe anomaly that Rome is trying to contain. Germany is Rome’s laboratory. It is their endgame.
They will not rest until even the German Synodal Way seems tame.
Böhnke’s criticism is not a rejection of synodality but rather its logical progression: if synodality is the new paradigm, why should even its own rules be allowed to limit it?
Now, let us take a look at another indicator of what the ultimate conclusion of the Synodal experiment will be.
In an August 12 interview with Slovak television personality Adela Vinczeová, “Father” Adam Štefanec said that he does not like the word “God” because it “no longer says anything to anyone.”
In the interview, this serpent-pretending-to-be-a-priest told Vinczeová that he desired, instead of using “God”, to find terms that could unite believers and non-believers alike, suggesting concepts such as “humanity.”
His suggestion is very important in this game of connecting the dots. This is the logical consequence of the new religion’s secular humanism and obsession with “human dignity.” Štefanec is merely telling us who the god of this new religion is: humanity, or, more precisely, Man.
As usual, it gets worse.
When Štefanec was asked what it means to live according to Christ’s will, he reportedly answered that the response differs from person to person and from one historical period to another, describing it as “constantly changing.”
Again, the “priest” is giving us a revealing insight into the religion of the coming Antichrist: God’s will is nothing but whatever man’s evil will happens to be.
For Štefanec, Christian living means being “authentic,” “being faithful to oneself” (not to God Almighty), and “living in harmony with oneself” (as opposed to conforming oneself to Christ).
It is hardly surprising that throughout the interview Štefanec almost obsessively emphasized Jesus’ humanity, describing Him as a real man who walked the earth, while expressing reluctance to use the word “God.”
I guess you know what I am going to say next?
What I say in almost every article about every single one of these Synodal enemies of God: Štefanec is also known to be very active in initiatives advocating for greater acceptance of LGBT ideology within the “Church.”
These two examples once again show that “it” is indeed happening fast now—and exactly why we have to boldly proclaim that Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and that His truth does not evolve with the fashions of history.
It is time to remind men like Štefanec and Böhnke that:
“Whosoever shall fall on this stone [Jesus Christ], shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it shall grind him to powder…”
(Matthew 21:44)
