For a sacrament to be valid, there must needs be 1) proper matter, 2) proper form, and 3) proper intention. For a man to be validly ordained a Catholic priest, there must be 1) imposition of a hand by a validly consecrated bishop, on the head of a man that is a baptized Catholic, 2) the proper "essential form" for the Rite used, and 3) the intention to do what the Church does on both the ordaining bishop and the ordinand. At this point, if a cleric is spouting nonsense like this, can we REALLY say he had the intention to be a Catholic priest, as the Church has always understood it?

The pre-V2 theologians are essentially unanimous: a doubtful sacrament is no sacrament. A priest spouting this crap should be viewed as a layman and not a priest.

Apostasies like this emanating from the clergy all the way up to the pope should - and do - foment righteous anger among properly catechized Catholics. This crap needs to stop. But lately, my anger is being displaced by a certain amount of sadness for the souls being led away from Christ by these blaspheming narcissists calling themselves priests and bishops. One could make a strong case that everything that’s gone wrong in Western Culture in the last 60 years can be in some way tied to the virtual dissolution and secularization of institutional Catholicism by the Second Vatican Council. “Culture is downstream from religion.”

How do we fight this? My wife has said the same exact thing that you’re saying. I feel like most Catholics have there head in the sand until it’s too late. No one wants to talk about it. They just want to plan the next feast day at our parish with hay rides and secular fall festival.

Endure what can be endured.

Opt out of what you cannot participate in.

When asked about why you act differently, give the gentlest and clearest answer possible.

Resist daily the urge to over-respond to these offenses against Our Lord. Be intemperate in your love for Him, but temperate in your actions and words.

Some of us want to go full cage match on the offenders, some want to hide under a bushel basket until it's all over. We must, instead, chart a middle way- *especially* when the other two options seem most tempting.

Tomorrow theres a traditional catholic podcast, article, prayer, Mass Ordo, etc app launching called Pelican plus that I am personally very hopeful for because it'll supply some of these traditional Catholic podcasters with income and platform to continue to bring the joy of the true traditional faith. Ive learned so much from them, especially how not to be angry or discouraged by these evils in the church.

I have understood from men much smarter than me that we should attend the Latin Mass and pray daily the Rosary and mental prayer. I find men like Kennedy Hall, Dr. Peter Kwasniewski, Timothy Flanders, and some others are fathers and husbands who have great understanding and hopeful words on these matters because they're simply joyful traditional Catholics.

While it saddens me to read yet another proof that the entire ape of the church that came out of the abomination of VII is not merely lost but is evil, I appreciate you keeping we faithful Catholics informed of what seems to happen daily, that being another example of heresy, apostasy, or both coming from the clergy who are supposed to serve God, but who no longer do so.

May they renounce their evil and repent of their sins so they can return to the most important purpose of the true Church which is salus animarum. suprema lex.

De profundis ad te clamavi, Domine; Domine exaudi vocem meam.

Millions of Catholics still have the faith. They believe in the Real Presence, who love Our Lady, who hold to traditional morality. They will remain strong and will rise up.

Other than praying how do we get this out to the local churches and start doing something about it? This is so true what you’re saying. It’s frustrating because most Catholics want to put their head in the sand.

So when someone finally declares a formal schism, who's gonna be the pontiff for we trads?

A time will come when all men will be mad and when the see someone who isnt mad they attack him and say “You’re mad! You’re not like us”
