If I put on a Trump mask and starting attacking the 1st, 2nd and 4th amendments to the Constitution some/many idiots would still consider me the President. After all, I fly in Air Force 1. Only the prez gets to do that.
The Novus Ordinarians are well indoctrinated. Obey, obey, obey. Ignore the obvious.
People!! The Synodal church is NOT the Catholic Church. Vatican II was just opening the door to the barbarians. A Trojan horse. Put a gun to my head and say “Take. Ommunion in the hand” or “give your neighbor a friendly wave” I’d say. “Go ahead. Make my day”.
The false popes connected with the Judas Council of Vatican II are the greatest con men in the history of the world. They’ve led countless millions of souls to everlasting hell. The carnage they’ve wrought far exceeds that of the abortion holocaust.
It was an interesting and logical argument that you put forward.
We are told Christ is merciful and loving and his church is indefectible. We are told it has seen difficult times before. We are left to learn and choose the correct path to salvation ourselves, it seems. Turn left, go to heaven. Turn right, go to hell. Is it that simple I wonder as some caution? My own hope is that God sees our individual confusion and in his mercy will judge us on the intentions in our hearts. It does not preclude the necessity for us to struggle through the long grass to discover the path Christ laid out for us and to follow that path as best we can. Some have already chosen to take a fork in the road as you have suggested. Others see the signposts in the distance and know it is coming. Yet others have arrived, but are unsure which path to take. But everyone it seems will have to make a choice. That is certain. Yet, how to decide?
I appreciate the writer laying out his own view of the choice ahead of us, and I believe, with his best intentions for our salvation in mind. I continue to read his material because he provokes me to think and consider my own position. At the same time, I cannot help but to continue to respect those good and faithful priests, bishops and the occasional Cardinal who, fully aware of the abuses and the contradictions, try to remain faithful to their vows and faithful shepherds to the church as they knew it. I think Bishop Strickland epitomises this. There are also many faithful members of the laity who despite feeling abused by what is going on, chose to remain and view loyalty as if it was an offering of their own suffering to Christ who was scourged and gave his life for theirs. Would Christ be angry with them for their exhibition of such faith and loyalty? I think not, and I can't condemn them. If the Church is indefectible (as it is), might not this attitude be a martyrdom of sorts. I believe it could be. I do not believe God will forsake any wo remain for reasons of faith and loyalty, if he is truly merciful, which we know he is.
These people possess something I do not. Patience, endurance, and the ability to be gaslit on a daily basis or be prepared to stick their head in a bucket so they can continue. I have tried and tried to develop these qualities, yet could not. Indeed many of these graces are listed in the mysteries or the Rosaries which I pray consistently, yet I have yet to receive. I just became more and more confused and angry by what I saw around me and had a feeling of emptiness after my regular mass at a not-so-good novus ordo, which added to my confusion. If Christ had appeared to me and said, "stay with my church and endure this period for me", I would have gladly done so. But I didn't get this message and the discomfort, confusion and anger became too much for me. So I, like many others, looked "for a place where the true faith still existed" or "where I could exist and remain truly in faith".
I pray Christ does not condemn me for not having the strength to endure my local mass and the daily scandals in the church, which was making me depressed. A better local priest might have changed things for me, and I had two, but neither were interested enough to discuss things though I tried many times to do so. But I did recently find one at an SSPX chapel.
Though I am at the beginning of my journey with SSPX, questions still come up. I am not yet able or ready to make the leap that the writer suggests, but certainly I don't condemn him or any others that believe the same. SSPX's willingness to remain connected to a Pope that may have novel plans for the church is something I'm trying to better understand. Might there be limits to their position which thus far have remained untested, or that they may be forced to rethink it if the current level of crazy surpasses everyone's worst expectations. I do not know.
Let's not be divided because of the machinations of those who have power yet appear to have lost faith. Everything could change in an instant should Christ decide we have suffered enough or he has been angered enough. His mother has indicated this in Fatima and Akita. I think it is very important to continue praying for the Pope, and in particular his bishops and priests who have lost their way. Christ demands this from all us, no matter the path we have chosen. It is not yet outside of the sphere of possibility that Christ can still change these people's hearts. He is King. Anything is possible. My hope is that we may soon return together as one flock to fight the other problems that we face in the world. We can not do this effectively while separated. I fear it is not only the church but also the world that requires an intervention, but I will settle for the church to receive it first.
"And not only so; but we glory also in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience trial; and trial hope; And hope confoundeth not: because the charity of God is poured forth in our hearts, by the Holy Ghost, who is given to us." (Romans 5:2~4)
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. But God judges us on our actions, NOT our intentions. Knowing that that everything to do with V-II is evil, we must decide to accept and act on that decision and choose the path of the Traditional Magisterium, or ignore the truth and accept V-II and all its errors as being "catholic". The latter, accepting V-II as "catholic", is something I refuse to do. But we all have free will and will be judged on how we act. I pray more people wake up to the truth before it is too late for them.
The word of God and Jesus himself suggest in the OT and NT that what you believe to be true is not completely correct nor the whole picture. It seems on balance that he considers what is in our hearts and minds also.
1 Chronicles 28:9: ... for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the thoughts of minds.
Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is living and effectual, ... and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Proverbs 16:2: All the ways of a man are open to his eyes: the Lord is the weigher of spirits.
Proverbs 21:2: Every way of a man seemeth right to himself: but the Lord weigheth the hearts.
Matthew 5:28: But I say to you, that whosoever shall look on a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matthew 15:19: For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.
Jeremiah 17:10: I am the Lord who search the heart and prove the reins: who give to every one according to his way, and according to the fruit of his devices.
Jeremiah 20:12: ... O Lord of hosts, prover of the just, who seest the reins and the heart ...
Luke 16:15 And he said to them: You are they who justify yourselves before men, but God knoweth your hearts ...
In regards to VII, I'm not in disagreement with you necessarily, but I don't think you can judge others based on what you think. There are many people in the world and a variety of situations, formation and good and bad priests guiding them. My mum is 96 years old and is a Catholic of deep faith. She will never understand what's going on in the church now or change her thinking. You can't definitively know that God limits his mercy for people acting out of pure loyalty and faith but are wrong or have been tricked. Only God will judge them and I would not wish to limit that which he may use to do so. He knows all our thoughts, words and actions. But I think you will agree that the examples I gave are incomparable to people like James Martin and a growing number of clergy whose works appear to be clearly against God's teachings and who seem to have neither faith nor loyalty to their vows and what Christ taught.
Thanks for the great article. Precisely what I needed as I'm in the process of overcoming the human blocks that prevent me from doing what reason tells me is right.
I agree with your article. However, where do we go to mass if there are so very few sedevacantist chapels? I attend the SSPX masses offered at their seminary in Dillwyn Virginia, but do not believe as their clergy does that the concillar popes are true popes. So what do Catholics like me do? I would welcome your thoughts on this. Thank you.
Do your best and keep your “3 Days of darkness kit” close by. I also had doubts about Bergolio and now Prevost. But now I’m sure. Invalid valid popes. Well you could start with John XIII? The white smoke? Then Paul? And JPII? The Abu Dhabi shrine, kissing the Koran.
Duh. Delete “valid”. They were invalid. The Catholic faith is not politically correct. The world wants us dead and buried. The remnant will know the faith.
Just to start off I’m a Novus Ordo OCIA catacumen, so allow me some grace here. In the land of Mormons so I don’t have any options for traditional teaching. With a continued line of thought, if the church hierarchy were to one day re-embrace tradition and true Catholic faith. How would we go about electing a new and true pope? Considering everyone in the church was given their power to consecrate priests, bishops etc… through the chair of Saint Peter. If the church were to invalidate Vatican II, all promotions and consecrations would’ve been invalidated correct? How could the church get back to a correct state of Papal Authority considering all the cardinals who vote for pope were also illicitly promoted and only the pope can nominate within the hierarchy (at least that’s what I thought)?
“One of my greatest frustrations, to the point of being infuriated, is that many otherwise sane and intelligent Traditional Catholics can, with great intellectual prowess and precision, diagnose the problems in the Church, but when it comes to drawing the Catholic conclusion, some mysterious short-circuit apparently takes place.”
I have recently discussed the psychological mechanics of this mysterious phenomenon of self-imposed stupidity here:
Where I experience the struggle with the popes themselves (as opposed to the Council) is that not everything a pope says is infallible or part of the Magisterium. The charism of infallibility does not prevent the pope from teaching falsely, but only in him doing so as laid out in Vatican I. So, does the argument that Pope So-and-so is not the pope because he teaches heresy apart from defining dogma hold water? Historically popes have said heretical things but no one said the see is vacant.
I’m not a theologian and I don’t play one on tv. I’ve read a lot of the arguments put forth by sedevacantists who are much better than I am when it comes to scholarship. I believe I understand what they’re saying. It makes sense but something seems off that I can’t put my finger on. Until I have certainty I cannot espouse a particular position without endangering my soul. We can never act when in doubt.
One thing I will not do is make a judgement based in emotion. That said, I will continue to struggle, study, and pray. The Holy Ghost and Our Blessed Lady will not let me stray.
the Popes as private individuals can teach heresy; they cannot do so acting in their official position; the various examples in history of Popes teaching error all come down to the fact that they did so in their capacity as private theologians; for example John XXII; The "Popes" of Vatican II have taught heresies acting in their official capacity; which is impossible according to the Church's doctors.
If you want to look deeper into this, find online the book: "Can The Pope Go Bad"
I believe you could benefit from Fr. Fenton's writings on the topic, which give luminous clarity on the infallibility and assent required on encyclicals:
"In this field, God has given the Holy Father a kind of infallibility distinct from the charism of doctrinal infallibility in the strict sense. He has so constructed and ordered the Church that those who follow the directives given to the entire kingdom of God on earth will never be brought into the position of ruining themselves spiritually through this obedience. Our Lord dwells within His Church in such a way that those who obey disciplinary and doctrinal directives of this society can never find themselves displeasing God through their adherence to the teachings and the commands given to the universal Church militant. Hence there can be no valid reason to discountenance even the non-infallible teaching authority of Christ’s vicar on earth."
I was a young boy when the changes due to Vatican II were thrust upon us. The whole thing seemed very awkward and I could never really quite get used to it; especially Communion in the hand. But it was when Francis was elected that things really went off the rails. I knew there was something terribly wrong with him. About 4 years ago, I discovered a local SSPX chapel. It was like receiving the breath of life. I will continue to attend as I have seen no improvements under Leo. Now, I'm no theologian. I'm not even a terribly knowledgeable Catholic. But I suspect that the analysis presented is a sound one. The question that plagues me (especially after hearing all of the opinions voiced after the SSPX consecration of Bishops) is, "Who among us has any authority to present a challenge to the Church hierarchy?"
You wrote the best explanation of the awful situation we’re in. No frittering around the edges, bemoaning the consequences such as promoting homosexuality or allowing pro abortion politicians to receive communion. I suppose we should look for an answer. How to stop the bleeding? Become a seed. Find other like minded Catholics and form a bond, a small community of believers. Learn the faith. Read the Doctors of the Church. They all had challenges and had to fight for Truth just like we’re being called to do.
So…….frequent Mass attendance. If you can’t make it to Mass read the proper for that day. Daily rosary. Padre Pio recommended praying the rosary with specific intentions. It may come to that moment for us all. I pray we may remain faithful knowing that this life is transitory at best, while eternity is, well, eternal.
The false popes connected with the Judas Council of Vatican II are the greatest con men in the history of the world. They’ve led countless millions of souls to everlasting hell. The carnage they’ve wrought far exceeds that of the abortion holocaust.

I Posted this on x a week ago;
Question
Jesus said whatever you bind…
Pius V in Quo Primum forbade changes to the Mass in perpetuity.
Christ has confirmed it binding , yet it was changed. How can this be?
Many say another Pope has the power to change it.
Both can’t be right.
Crux of the problem.
I got this reply;
Pope St. Pius V bound other Catholics to his bull, but he didn't bound future Popes (and hadn't the power to do so)….
I then answered:
“…nothing shall ever be added to, taken from or changed in this our missal lately published, under pain of our indignation, we enact and ordain, by this our constitution, which shall be valid in perpetuity…
Why say ‘in perpetuity’ ?
Doesn’t Christ’s own words make it binding?
Of course they do, but if one does not believe in Jesus Christ, one does not have to accept His words. A similar comment could be made about St Pauls' comment in Galatians, paraphrased, ANYONE who teaches a Gospel different from what they taught is ANATHEMA! "Anyone" can only mean ANYONE, even a claimant to the chair of Peter!
Bravo!
These mental gymnastics would not be necessary if you would simply accept that Robert Prevost is The False Prophet ( REV. )
