Radical Roundup: Bring back the Inquisition, all is forgiven
No longer can these men (and women behind the scenes) be left to continue their destruction of Christ’s One Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church unabated.
“The Church’s worst persecutors have been her own unfaithful bishops, priests, and religious. Opposition from outside is terrible; it gives us many martyrs. But the Church’s worst enemy is her own traitors” – Pope Pius XI
Another week, another barrage of heresy, blasphemy, heterodoxy, and filth… from the “Catholic” cabal.
Of course, if you are not getting your fix of anti-Catholicism from within your own parish, you can always look to Rome and the “different” church they are setting up or to the Synod on Synodality, for a fresh serving of hell.
By now thousands of words have been written about Pope Francis’ heretical anti-Christian, anti-Catholic statements he made in Singapore in September. I am not going to revisit them here as I have addressed them twice already on different occasions. Suffice it to say that heretics in the past have been sent to the stake for lesser sins against Christ and His Church.
But it would be naïve, as it has been proven over and over since 2013, to think that said incident in Singapore was an isolated faux pas or even a faux pas at all. It has become as clear as daylight that what we are seeing is an intentional and systematic attempt to dismantle the Church and to set up what Bishop Fulton Sheen referred to as the ‘Ape of the Church’.
This past week was no different. On Sunday 6 October Pope Francis announced that at a consistory on 8 December, 21 new cardinals will be made. This will bring the number of cardinal electors to 142, despite the limit being 120.
Although it will take some time for us to investigate all 21 cardinals to establish their orthodoxy credentials, three names have already caused a stir. The biggest shock to orthodox Catholics was the announcement that pro-LGBT priest, Fr Timothy Radcliffe, OP will be among the new “princes” of the Church.
(The heterodox Dominican is also the “spiritual advisor” to the Synod on Synodality and leads its retreats, which explains a lot. I can only guess what “spirit” guides his “advice”, but I am pretty sure it is not the Holy Ghost).
Radcliffe has openly opposed Christ and the Catholic Church’s teachings on homosexuality for many decades and is on record for having said (among other nonsense) “I have no doubt that God does call homosexuals to the priesthood, and they are among the most dedicated and impressive priests I have met”. He has also called on Catholics to “accompany” homosexuals by “watching “Brokeback Mountain” [Hollywood sodomite filth], reading gay novels, living with our gay friends and listening with them as they listen to the Lord”.
Probably one of the most blasphemous statements Radcliffe made was back in 2013 when he, according to a report in LifeSiteNews, “argued that homosexuality was to be understood in the light of Christ’s gift of Himself in the Eucharist” and said “How does all of this bear on the question of gay sexuality? We cannot begin with the question of whether it is permitted or forbidden! We must ask what it means, and how far it is Eucharistic. Certainly it can be generous, vulnerable, tender, mutual and non-violent. So in many ways, I would think that it can be expressive of Christ’s self-gift. We can also see how it can be expressive of mutual fidelity, a covenantal relationship in which two people bind themselves to each other for ever”.
What the actual heck!?
But as in any circus, there is always more than one clown. Another jolly fellow on the list to receive the red hat on 8 December is the Archbishop of Algiers, Jean-Paul Vesco, who at the time of becoming Archbishop, said baptism is not necessary for salvation and that “we have to get rid of the idea that we have to evangelise”. Yes, Pope Francis sure knows how to pick them!
Yet, the end was still not in sight. Another cardinal elect, Carlos Castillo, said in response to a statement by Pope Francis that he [Pope Francis] was converted through contemplating the Tabernacle, that he [Castillo] was “sorry, but nobody converts with the Tabernacle”. What can I say? Yet more proof that not only the majority of the laity no longer believes in the Real Presence of Christ but also many of the current and future leaders of the Church. Oh, sorry, not the Church, but the New Synodal church.
These people are literally NOT Catholic.
And then, just to underscore the not-so-subtle message of what is really going on, our favorite sodomite-promoting “priest” (and need I point out Jesuit) James Martin and his heretical Outreach group, hosted a pro-LGBT event in Rome two days later that was attended by cardinals and other members of the Synod. At this very orthodox event [sarcasm], a gay “married” man implored attendees to “allow love to be expressed”. In other words, those who are supposed to protect the Deposit of Faith, condoned with their presence at this event this call to accept man’s sexual rebellion against God. Nice.
In the light of these and the other daily satanic scandals that we must contend with, I would risk making the proposition that never in the 2000-year history of the Catholic Church, has the rot been this bad. But what did those who came before us do in similar times when the enemies of Christ got out of line? They packed their picnic baskets and called an Inquisition.
Although the Spanish Inquisition (1478–1834) is the most well-known, there were others such as the Medieval Inquisition (1184–1230s), Roman Inquisition (1542–19th Century), and the Portuguese Inquisition (1536–1821). And always their purpose was to detect, investigate, and punish those whose beliefs or practices were considered contrary to Catholic doctrine and to defend the purity of the Catholic faith and safeguard Christian society. Oh boy, Radcliffe et al would be in for a world of trouble. Sadly, the Holy Father as well. Actually, not much of the Church in 2024 would be left once the Inquisition was finished with it.
Penalties at the time of previous Inquisitions included imprisonment, excommunication, confiscation of property, and in some cases execution by burning as well as other creative yet frowned upon “methods of persuasion”. I am not saying bring back the stretching rack or start stoking the pyre, but no longer can these men (and women behind the scenes) be left to continue their destruction of Christ’s One Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church unabated. At the very least they should either be excommunicated or if they repented, be banished to monasteries to live out their days in prayer and hard labor as penance. Yes, not very Christian of me, but then again damning the souls of the innocent to hell with heretical teachings isn’t either.
Unfortunately, because the decay goes right to the top, there is no one or no ecclesial body that could institute such a neo-inquisition and faithful Catholics will just have to grind their teeth and continue to do what we have always done: know our Faith, teach our Faith, live our Faith and defend our Faith.
And pray.
Pray for the Church. For the Pope. For the hierarchy. For each other.
Yes, pray.
A lot.
