As a woman, I can unequivocally state that having women in positions of power/status within the Church normally filled by men, is my absolute idea of hell. The cattiness, bitching, back-stabbing, gossiping, emotional breakdowns and pot-stirring make me want to sh*t a kidney. Apologies for my language, but this is happening in my parish now. My local church is NO; I am in the country and have no TLM near me. I can't drive too far due to shoulder and leg injury. My priest is also my friend and is trying so hard to perform a beautiful, reverential Mass. But the grief he is getting from women within the various ministries is shocking. I find the whole situation so off-putting, and dread the day when we have no priest here, and instead are managed by a cackle of women, all vying to be heard and validated. God help us all.

"The text insists that women must no longer be “recipients” but “protagonists” in the Church’s life, calling for a “co-responsibility” in decision-making and pastoral ministry."
