That was my parish of 40 years you are referring to! They didn’t have compassion for our souls! My SSPX pastor, before we switched parishes, told me he is responsible for my soul! That’s why I switched, because my pastor at the parish we were married at, all of our children’s Sacraments including converting their spouses before their weddings! Then they threw every one of us, every parishioner, under the bus! I’m sorry most Catholics don’t see the hypocrisy in going back to a fake church! Yes, FAKE! I want a priest that cares for my soul, and my offspring too! Every person should understand that basic understanding of our Roman Catholic Faith! Compassion is given in the Confessional! We need more holy priests like the one I encountered @ the commie lockdown! I don’t want commie priests, or priests who are afraid to die! If that’s too harsh, I don’t care! I have 14 grandchildren to worry about! I’m going to continue being a hard core Catholic grandma! Someone needs to teach the kiddos what real Love means! I prayed an Ave Maria for you! Excuse me but I too go to SSPX and feel the same about the Norvus Ordo I came from so am just trying to have compassion on those who cling to their memories but hopefully will leave.
I guess I need to explain my passionate defense! My adult children are still NO! One told me I’m in schism! He spoke to his NO priest about us (his parents) and that is what he has been told! It’s exactly like Jesus said in the Bible, family members being against each other! You cannot fathom the hurt I felt when my son said that to me! I want my children and grandchildren to leave the fake church! For now, I cling to the Blessed Mother and know that she will see to it that my prayers are answered!
So sorry to hear but you are not alone. Many parents are hurting now and many find their children are not even speaking to them. Many have children outside the church and live very secular lives..living in sin..WE just pray for mercy as God knows how the Vatican has been taken over and we've been like frogs put in lukewarm water...and some do not realize they are now being burned. But God can work the impossible so we pray our children realize the extent of the infiltration and fall in love with our Lord, Jesus Christ so they can eventually understand real Catholicism. We must remember that God is allowing all of this and He is calling His own. Some may start at the Norvus Ordo..some may be there as the underground church guiding those to truth and some are called to leave. I left long ago and then I felt God wanted me to go to church with my husband who didn't understand as he was so busy working. Through much aggravation and change in our lives my husband started to see but it has been a long journey of ten years and it continues as he learns his faith. Pray for patience, show love and let God be God. It is penance, patience and much self denial as we pray and fast for our loved ones. God help us.

This ineptitude is a sign that church leadership is controlled by Satan!
Conversations in the Spirit do not appear in Scripture or Catholic literature prior to 1962; but living, walking, and being led of the Spirit do appear in Paul’s epistle to the Galatians chapter 5. If we are actually living in the Spirit, I suppose that everything that we do is in the Spirit, including our conversations. I don’t recall being taught any of this during my pre-V2 Catholic upbringing. This tells me that things have been awry in the Church for a lot longer than V2.
