Thank you for reading the Bergoglio missive so I didn't have to. The Cure of Ars, patron saint of parish priests, lived in dire poverty, eating only a couple semi-rotted potatoes a day for sustenance and enduring great penance for his flock. Any extra money he had was spent on his priestly vestments and his church for the glory of God. Anyone who would ridicule these sacrifices is unworthy of the priesthood. Bergoglio's denegration of tradition has been a constant throughout his dubious pontificate and renders him fully impotent as a spiritual leader. The only thing that astounds me is how many (poorly catechized) Catholics still take him seriously and refuse to endure any criticism of him.

Clarification on the Rite of St. Pius V: it codified for the entire Church what was already the norm at Rome for centuries. While, say, uses in Britain or Germany may have had some minor differences (enough to lead to the heresies of Cranmer and Luther), the Mass of 1570 is the same as the Mass of 1300 in Rome, according to the extant sources. This, while the Mass of St. Pius V is the norm for the entire Catholic Church since 1570, it was in use far before that.

“ uses in Britain or Germany may have had some minor differences (enough to lead to the heresies of Cranmer and Luther),”

This is completely illogical and categorically false. As anyone who has studied both the history of the Sacred Liturgy and the causes of the Lutheran and Anglican heresies knows the liturgical uses of England and Germany in no way shape or form contributed in any way to the heresies of Luther and Cranmer. They did contribute to the making of countless saints, both those raised to the altars and those known only to God.

Thank you....the traditional Holy Mass will return.....the Church Jesus Christ of Nazareth founded....like it's Creator has to experience, crucification, death and resurrection....permitted by Jesus....we may not live to see it but the prophesies and Jesus cannot lie" the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (the church). Alleluia!

Brilliant article and just reinforces even more clearly how Tradition can't be separated and presented as just an optional add-on to the Church.

The more I read and learn from traditional bteachings and commentaries by Saints, Doctors, Popes etc the more I'm convinced that the Counciliar/Synodal religion is definitely not the Holy Roman Catholic Church. The implications of this are probably worse than us mortals can comprehend.

Another great post. Well thought out and clearly written. Thank you.

I have no desire to read the pope’s autobiography. It would be more edifying to read a dime novel.

"When a tradition gathers enough strength to go on for centuries, you don't just turn it off one day." Chinua Achebe

No Tradition, no Church. It is that simple. TLM is the heartbeat of Catholic tradition.

This situation now of the Church today seems to validate what has been obfuscated third secret of Fatima, that according to Cardinal Ciappi (this can be checked via Google) “that the apostasy would be initiated from the top of the Church.”?

The obfuscation is reminiscent of what had been in the news about the policy of health insurance company of “delay, deny and defend”.
