Parish Hell-bent on Profaning Epiphany in Order to Compromise with False Religion

According to statements published on the official social media account of the parish of Guissona in Catalonia and reproduced by Infovaticana, this year’s Epiphany celebration will once again depart from Catholic custom and will again be compromised for the sake of a false religion (Islam).

All to appease the post-conciliar gods of “ecumenism” and “multiculturalism.”

The parish explains that whereas the image of the Baby Jesus was formerly kissed during the visit of the Three Kings, this practice will no longer take place because “some of the pages and one of the kings are Muslim, and this practice is inappropriate for them.”

The same announcement recalls that last year, amid public criticism, the parish considered reading passages from both the Bible and the Qurʾān during the Epiphany celebration, justifying the idea by claiming that the two texts “share universal values such as peace, harmony, brotherhood, forgiveness, and love.” Although the Qurʾān was ultimately not read, the parish now signals that this approach reflects its understanding of the town’s “new reality.” The statement concludes, somewhat incongruously, by noting: “For this reason, the Eucharist on the 5th will be celebrated at 5:00 p.m.”

The “new reality” is, of course, the fact that Europe is being overrun by Islam and is no longer Catholic. Needless to say, instead of taking a stand, the prelates and disciples of the Vatican’s New Religion are bowing down and groveling before their new masters.

Just to make this clear, in case the introduction was misunderstood, these are the words of the parish itself. And they reveal, with unsettling clarity, what has become of the Epiphany in Guissona. Christ must yield to a demonic ideology, and instead of adoring Him during this most holy and beloved feast, He must give way to accommodating Muhammad’s followers.

The Epiphany is not folklore or fairy tale. Nor is it a community exercise in cultural sensitivity. It is the solemn proclamation that the Son of God has been revealed to the nations, and that the nations—represented by the Magi—fall on their knees before Him. In other words, it is the honoring of Christ as the only King of all reality, and thus of all nations and peoples. The Gospel does not say that the Magi paused to assess whether their religious background made adoration “appropriate.” It says they fell down and worshiped Him.

And yet, in Guissona, the Magi cannot kiss the Child because they are “Muslim.”

Confusion (and stupidity) is clearly reigning supreme here, but that is what happens when one denies the source of all order, clarity, and truth. The Magi of the Gospel were not Muslims—Islam would not exist for another six centuries! To recast biblical figures as adherents of a religion that not only didn’t exist at the time, but also explicitly denies the divinity of Christ, is historical absurdity in the service of relativism. It empties the Epiphany of its meaning and transforms a revelation of divine kingship into a hollow pageant.

According to the priest, Qurʾānic texts were considered suitable for proclamation alongside Sacred Scripture because the Bible and the Qurʾān “share values.” What a load of horse you-know-what. This parish and its spineless priest are merely admitting that the synodal Church no longer dares to speak of Truth. The Mass is not a woke forum for the exchange of ethical commonalities, but the Holy Sacrifice of the altar, where Christ is made present—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. But because this reality has been denied for the past seventy years, it has become easy to turn the “new liturgy” into a vehicle for the promotion of a One World Religion.

The Word proclaimed at Mass is inspired by God. The Qurʾān is not. It denies the Trinity, rejects the Incarnation, and repudiates the redemptive death of Christ. And the less said about its author, the better. To even suggest parity between the two is satanic syncretism and an insult to the Almighty Living God. It also endangers both Catholic and Muslim souls.

The line that perhaps best captures the spiritual disorder of this affair is the most casual one: “For this reason, the Eucharist will be celebrated at five.” For this reason? For the belief that the Bible and the Qurʾān share values? The logic collapses under its own weight. The Eucharist—the source and summit of Christian life—is reduced to a logistical footnote, while ideological inclusivity becomes the organizing principle.

Dear readers, this is yet another example of the cult of religious indifferentism—the very error condemned by Pope Gregory XVI, but now the bedrock of Rome’s false religion. When the unique truth of the Catholic faith is replaced with vague “moral” consensus, Christ is dethroned and the Church becomes indistinguishable from the world.

The anger-inducing tragedy of Guissona is not its multicultural reality. The Church has always welcomed all nations. The tragedy is that its shepherd has chosen to empty Catholic worship of its Catholic meaning. The saints converted pagan Europe not by adapting the faith to false religions, but by proclaiming Christ without compromise.

And this priest does not act in ignorance. He persists. He doubles down. He hosts lectures on “Islam as God intended” in a Catholic parish, as though divine revelation were a matter of academic speculation. Meanwhile, the faithful are left confused, scandalized, or driven into silence.

So the question must be asked: Where is the Bishop of Urgell? Is he unaware of what is happening? If he is aware, why does he tolerate it? This scandal is public and endangers souls, and therefore his silence is complicity.

Every priest will one day stand before the judgment seat of God and give an account of the souls entrusted to him. No appeal to coexistence, no ideological justification, no accusations against the faithful will excuse the abandonment of Christ’s kingship. And, as I have said, ignorance will not be an excuse.

May God have mercy on the parishioners of Guissona, and may He correct their “shepherd.” And may He preserve the countless parishes throughout the world where, on Epiphany, the Magi still kneel—and Christ is still adored as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
